As the match began, Coleman was unstoppable, effortlessly defeating Uzbekistan’s Fomin, ranked 452 in the world, in straight sets. Amid the scorching sun, his serves and returns were unrelenting. In just 80 minutes, Wong secured victory with scores of 6-3 and 6-2, proving himself as the ‘King of Hometown Tennis’!
This year, Coleman has been on fire, becoming the first Hong Kong player to reach the third round of the Men’s Singles at the US Open and defeating world No. 14 Ben Shelton at the Miami Masters. His achievements are inspiring fans across Hong Kong and encouraging local kids to dream big and one day represent their city like Coleman.
